Proofreading
Diction offers proofreading of your texts to ensure they are completely error-free. If you have a text that needs proofreading, we are available. The translators we have review your text have the review language as their native language. A flawless text always conveys the best message. Therefore, it is always a good idea to double-check your text, regardless of who the recipient is. Diction offers different types of proofreading. First and foremost, we have the basic proofreading, where the focus is on correcting spelling errors, grammatical errors or incorrect punctuation. In addition to this, we also offer rewriting, where we go in and change the language structure and sentence structure and pay special attention to the text's recipient.
Usually, it is texts of lower quality that need to be rewritten to make the text as useful as possible.
When we have received your text and proofread it, you will get two versions of it back. One version with comments and a final corrected text that can be used directly as it is. If you want to avoid texts with either linguistic or grammatical errors, we recommend that you make sure to have them proofread.

1. Analysis phase:
It is necessary for us to familiarize ourselves with the various aspects related to the text in order to successfully carry out the task. For example, we would give a text with a strong industry character to a translator with experience in that particular industry. A review of the text means that we can give you a free quote and time estimate for the task. It is only upon your approval that the development phase begins.
2. Development phase:
After an analysis, the text is proofread and any changes are made according to a set process. This analysis guarantees the same use of technical terminology and formal degree throughout the text. This is where the text is corrected for spelling errors, typing errors, input errors, incorrect punctuation, grammatical errors, etc. Furthermore, the text is adapted with regard to any cultural differences.
For all assignments, the text is proofread by the translator twice. To guarantee quality, we want as much time as possible for the task, just so that the reviewer can double-check the edited text, after which any changes and errors are corrected in order to make the text flawless and usable.
3. Closing phase:
When we have gone through all the phases, we evaluate the work and assess whether the text is ready or not. We then deliver the text so that it can be put into use. There is also the possibility for you to get an additional document where you can see all the corrections that have been made and any comments.
