At Diction, we offer a service to convert voice recordings and video soundtracks into text. We specialize primarily in transcription solutions for Danish and English, but we also offer transcription of other languages such as Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, German, French, and Icelandic. We can deliver your completed text file as a simple text document (.txt) or as time-stamped subtitles (.srt) for use with video files.
Get subtitles for your video
Whether you represent an organization that needs subtitles for educational, advertising, or instructional videos, or you come from a company that needs subtitles for an advertisement, interviews, or a lecture, we can develop a solution that works for you. For subtitles, we can deliver them soft-coded in the form of a secondary SRT file. The subtitles are then added to the video, but you can remove them and add them again yourself. Please note that with machine transcription, it can be difficult for the software to identify laughter and coughing, as well as to recognize direct speech. Punctuation can also be a challenge, especially when someone is asking questions.

On weekdays, we deliver the file with the automated transcription on the same day as the order is placed. For manual transcription, the delivery time is normally at least 2-4 business days. If you contact us in advance and inform us of your transcription needs, we can shorten the delivery time.
