Diction, which also runs Legalisering ApS, has just presented the annual results for 2021, the best since the agency's start, with a surplus of €167,000 and a total turnover of €1.55 million. This represents a 14% increase in turnover from 2020 and is the company's largest surplus to date.
Focus on Customer Needs Delivers Results
"This is a historically impressive set of accounts for Diction and shows that we are a growing company. After a turbulent period with COVID-19 in 2020, we chose to look inwards at our business, and we have succeeded in becoming more streamlined. It's about matching our customers with the perfect translator. This has proven to be the right tactic, resulting in our best-ever result with more satisfied customers and a surplus of €167,000, which has been a milestone for our agency," says Martin Boberg, CEO of Diction.
More Customers Choose Diction as a Translation Agency in Sweden and Norway
Growth in both the Swedish and Norwegian markets has contributed positively to the launch of the Swedish and Norwegian editions of Legalisering.dk. "We have never doubted the great potential in both Sweden and Norway, but it has only been since the beginning of 2021 that we have really broken through in the markets. Therefore, we also expect to be able to continue the growth into 2022," says Martin Boberg.
New Offensive Underway in Finland and Iceland
After achieving milestones with the establishment in both Sweden and Norway, the plans for Diction's expansion in Finland and Iceland. Diction already has a large network of translators in the Nordic countries, which makes it possible for Diction to serve customers with translation needs to and from Swedish and Finnish. The headquarters will remain in Copenhagen, from where employees from Finland and Iceland will also work.
Expectation of Growth and Increased Bottom Line in 2022
"Although we in Northern Europe are still in an uncertain time with both COVID-19, inflation and war in Ukraine, we are cautiously optimistic about the results in 2022. Our goal for the year is to be established in both Finland and Iceland. This, combined with continued growth in our home markets, means that we expect greater growth than we have seen so far, and one of our top priorities is to maintain a bottom line of between ten and twenty percent of Diction Group's turnover," says Martin Boberg.
