Diction Translation Agency Expands to Finland

From April 2022, Finnish companies and individuals will be able to order translations through the Finnish division of Diction.

The expansion is part of Diction's Nordic expansion, which means that Diction will be present in all Nordic countries by 2022. Until 2021, Diction has been established in Denmark, Sweden and Norway - in 2022, the plan is for Diction to open branches in Finland, Iceland and Greenland.

Timing for Expansion is Right
Martin Boberg, CEO of Diction, states: "Through years of working with Scandinavian customers, we have established a solid network of Finnish translators, and therefore the start-up in the Finnish market is an obvious opportunity. I am pleased to be able to realize the next step in our growth journey. The timing is right for us, as we are currently established in our home markets, which frees up resources for further expansion. We have worked to strengthen the team with the right skills and local knowledge. To be ready for entry into Finland, we have hired our first Finnish employee, Saara Winter".

Hiring of Finnish Project Manager

Saara Winter becomes the first Finnish employee, and she will be involved in the start-up of Diction in the Finnish market. As a project manager, Saara will, among other things, be responsible for all contact with our customers, both business customers and private individuals, but also public customers. In addition, she will play an active role in the localization of Diction's Finnish website.

Previously, Saara has been a Localisation Specialist & Team Lead at MakesYouLocal, and she has 13 years of experience from the international travel company KILROY. Saara has a master's degree in marketing from the Turku School of Economics in Finland, where she also had English as a minor subject. In addition, she has also studied English translation and interpretation.

Launch of both Diction & Legalization

With the establishment in Finland, Diction will launch both a Diction.fi domain and legalization.dk, which focuses on legal translations. Legalization.dk has been successfully launched in Sweden and Norway in 2021 and is expected to be online in Finland from June 2022.
