Every year, the Stock Exchange identifies Danish gazelle businesses that have succeeded in creating the fastest and largest growth, and in December 2023, Korrekturselskabet ApS was named one of the year's gazelle winners.

Korrekturselskabet and its proofreaders have specialized in proofreading for private and corporate clients since its inception in 2016. In 2023, Korrekturselskabet was acquired by Diction ApS, after which the company has continued to operate as an independent brand and complements Diction's language services.

A language company driven in a Jutlandic way

The news that Korrekturselskabet has won the Stock Exchange's Gazelle has been received with delight by Martin Boberg, CEO of Diction (and Korrekturselskabet):

"It's actually a bit of a coincidence that Korrekturselskabet is getting a gazelle award now that Diction has become the owner. In fact, it's a confirmation that Korrekturselskabet has been a sound company that has been run according to sound Jutlandic principles, and we are pleased to build on a good foundation. The people behind the businesses are the most important, and Martin Handberg, who runs Korrekturselskabet on a daily basis, has also played a central role in Korrekturselskabet's growth that the gazelle award is based on," says Martin.

The founder of Korrekturselskabet, Martin Handberg, was also happy and satisfied with the award: "I've never been driven by such a goal, so I actually received it quite relaxed. That said, I'm happy about the award because the statuette can now stand on my home office and symbolize a journey towards something."

Third gazelle award for the Diction group

The 2023 gazelle award for Korrekturselskabet is the third time the Diction group has received a gazelle award. In 2018 and 2019, Diction ApS was named a Gazelle business.

Martin Boberg says: "We expect continued demand for proofreading from students, companies and customers in the public sector in the future - our goal is to remain the preferred actor in Denmark. We have optimized internal processes and expect to be able to continue to drive Korrekturselskabet to prepare it for further growth in the future."

After Diction's acquisition of Korrekturselskabet, Diction has increased its focus on helping customers with proofreading in addition to translation. Recently, proofreading has been actively offered to existing customers across the entire Diction group - including the Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish and Icelandic divisions.
